Alexander Zelikin

Dr Alexander Zelikin received a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Moscow State University, Russia in 2003. He held research positions at MIT with Prof Robert Langer and at Cornell University with Prof David Putnam in the USA and then at the University of Melbourne with Prof Frank Caruso. In 2009, Alex moved to Denmark as an Assistant Professor in Medicinal Chemistry at Aarhus University. He established and leads Medicinal Polymer Chemistry lab with research interests in assembly of functional biointerfaces, surface mediated drug delivery, and antiviral polymer therapeutics. His track record includes over 70 peer-reviewed publications. In September 2013 Alex was promoted and tenured as an Associate Professor in Experimental Medicinal Chemistry.
