Abstract
1.Do not loose memory – evolution of ChE: from Unit Operation up to M2P2 E.
2. The innovation triangle: combining science and technology for the development of sustainable processes and products
3.Shaking the present: new processes to separate propane/propylene mixture (PSA and SMB)
4.Shaping the future. “The playing field is being leveled”
Opportunities for all (prepared…)
i) Acetals by SMBR
ii) Product engineering: Perfume Engineering & Microencapsulation;FlexSMB
5. “There is no free lunch”: challenges and …just for fun:
i) vanillin from lignin
ii) CO2 capture
iii) SERP for H2 production.
